"The Iban mentality is hard to predict. Generally, they are impulsive, temperamental and suspicious," said the civil servant. "Their leaders are inefficient and ineffective. There is a lot of internal bickering.""The Ibans of today are not like those in the past. They are lazy. Someone like Sng Chee Hwa (above) comes along, plys them with booze and lead them by the nose. He's smart."

“Because they (the Malays) are willing to share their country with other races, the race from the older civilisation of more than 4,000 years and who are more successful, as such today whatever they have now is also being taken away from them,” he wrote in what appeared to be a reference to the Chinese community.

Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said today the death of a political aide of a Selangor state executive councillor had been politicised by the opposition to divert attention from the investigation of its elected representatives by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
He said the death of Teoh Beng Hock, 30, the political aide of Selangor State Executive Councillor Ean Yong Hian Wah on Thursday, was politicised as the MACC conducted investigations into the alleged misuse of the Selangor government allocations to elected representatives.

MACC, EXPLAIN THISIn a statement, Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said the MACC must bear full responsibility for this death as Teoh was in their custody at the time.
“MACC should stop its political persecution of PR, especially DAP leaders and members, that does not serve the interest of fighting corruption or justice,” he said. “Such political games have caused the loss of life of a bright young idealistic DAP member.”
“There must be a full investigation on how he died. Unless MACC can clear its name, the public may suspect that Teoh was mistreated and MACC had a hand in his sudden death. There must be full transparency and accountability.

I think the two guys are sick or just plain crazy. Read the article below.

............Sadly, your disrespect knew no bounds. You chose to abandon all human and religious decency with impunity as a journalist and a Muslim. Under pretence of being a Catholic you participated in the church service and even partook of the Holy Communion (a white and sacred wafer) strictly meant only for Catholics.
You consumed the white wafer which Catholics hold as very sacred and treat with utmost reverence, and both of you spat out the remnants, photographed it and published the picture in an article entitled “Tinjaun Al Islam Dalam Gereja:Mencari Kesahihan Remaja Murtad” which was published in the May 2009 issue of the Al Islam magazine.
I shudder to think of what could happen if the reverse took place — if for instance two reporters from the Herald were to enter a mosque disguised as Muslims, partake of the rituals and desecrate something which the congregation considers very sacred.

The government awarded the RM310 million Bengoh contract without a transparent tender process to construction mammoth Naim Cendera. The chairman of Naim Cendera, Abdul Hamid Sepawi, is Chief Minister Abdul Taib Mahmud's first cousin. Hamid has been reported to be worth more than RM500 million.
Naim Cendera subcontracted the project to Sinohydro from China for RM145 million. The RM165 million discrepancy has never been explained to taxpayers.

Malaysia is well-known for its flip-flop policy in dealing with important issues. Every time a new education minister is appointed, a new education appears because he wants to make a mark in the book of records.
In 'Bolehland' anything is possible at the beginning but soon died off when there is not much fund left to back up the programme. Imagine the millions of ringgit the ministry has spent on the progamme all these years.

We saw sometime ago in the case of University Teknologi MARA the Cartesian principle applied. Why would those thousands of students embarrass themselves by championing for their rights to be chained and caged by the comfort of one-dimensional race-based thinking when their counterparts globally pride themselves with how diverse their campuses are? We saw the dangerous concept of “Ketuanan Melayu” funneled into the mind of the students; our bright young learners who ought to be socialized into a world of meritocracy and cultural democracy that values not only hard work and cognition but also inter-cultural understanding and collaboration. We should have not allowed institutions such as Biro Tata Negara to set foot on our campuses and force our children to learn its version of “citizenship”; one that is not only based on a truncated and warped history of Malaysia but also one that closes the mind of the Malays into evolving into brave souls that values multiculturalism and champions the idea of “world citizens”; a noble concept that sees poverty and dehumanization as a problem of humanity to be solved peacefully and collectively.
